tour de hills

oooohhh so busy!
on the weekend we went for a drive up into the hills. it was sunny and beautiful.
i was slightly hung over and the mission was for work. i had to go to all these places and figure out which would be the best for kids. it meant lots of walking through the bush. there were lots of flies and i saw a snake. we went to history village. weird. all the years that i lived 2 seconds away fron that place i, not even once, went in there. its a strange place but a lot more interesting than what i thought it would be.. even with a beer headache.
the hightlight of the day was finding this place called rocky pool.. not the rocky pool that i know (secret local knowledge) but one that is on the map and close to an access road so you dont have to scramble through the bush for ages (although that makes it so much more satisfying).
this little rock pool is beautiful. it is definitely a hot summers day picnic spot.
maybe we should all go there one day :)
